Same tampons as the subscription: GOTS and ICEA certified organic cotton, a biodegradable cardboard "twist" applicator with a rounded tip, and a safety layer around the core that the brand says keeps fibers from being left behind. No plastic, viscose, perfume, superabsorbents or chlorine bleaching. No subscription needed.Who it's for

People who want organic cotton tampons with no plastic, fragrance or dyes

Anyone who prefers to buy in bulk once instead of a monthly subscription

People who want a cardboard applicator instead of plastic

How to use itPer Tampon Tribe’s directions and FDA tampon guidance:

Unwrap the paper wrap.

Twist the top part of the applicator in the opposite direction from the base.

Push the base up slightly so the tip of the tampon shows, then insert.

Choose the lowest absorbency that handles your flow, and change every 4 to 8 hours; never longer than 8 hours (FDA).

Safety notes

Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is rare but serious. Remove the tampon and get emergency care for sudden high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness or fainting, or a sunburn-like rash during your period (FDA).

Use only during your period, with the lowest absorbency you need.

Not a form of contraception and does not protect against STIs.
